I am not going to lie, this isnt the best of lenses...
But for the cost, it is well worth it. I bought this lens used off ebay, and only planned on using it 3 times a year. One of those better to have it, and not need it, then need it and not have it.
I tried it out, and it worked great for taking pictures of the moon. I uploaded one on here, so look at the top under customer photos. I used it with a Canon XT camera, and a wired remote to elimate camera shake.
I highly recommend getting a wired, or wireless remote...
I used it with the 1000mm doubler, and a tripod. That far out, breathing on it will make it shake.
Unless you want to pay $400 for a 500/1000mm lens that you will only use two times a year. This is well worth it...
p.s. I have seen many negative reviews for this lens on other websites... The main problem, the people leaving the negative reviews never used the lens. They were judging it on cost, and company.
This is the only review, so I hope this covers everything.
